Program Information For Parents

A comprehensive overview of our educational offerings and nurturing environment. At LELC, we believe that every child is unique and deserves the best foundation for their development. With a focus on holistic growth, our program aims to foster intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth in a safe and supportive setting.

We regard each child as unique. Support is given to individual abilities, learning styles, and cultural values. We foster close partnerships with the parents of children enrolled in the program in an effort to provide a unified harmonious approach to child rearing and education. We encourage families to visit at anytime as we have an open door policy for visits.

The staff communicates with families daily, schedule conferences at least twice a year, and encourage parents to visit during the day, volunteer, or share a special interest with the children in their child’ group. Each classroom is equipped with a phone for parents to communicate directly with the teachers when necessary.

The enrollment policy of the Little Eagles Learning Center requires priority to be given to students who are enrolled full-time at FGCU. FGCU employees have the next enrollment priority with siblings having the same priority. The center maintains a substantial waitlist thus making enrollment for the general community a final status. Families are encouraged to submit a waitlist application as soon as possible as rooms fill quickly. Families are contacted in advance when slots open, they may choose to take the slot or continue on the waitlist for a later enrollment date.

Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten VPK (must be 4 years old by September 1st of the year they begin)* The rates below are for wrap-around care after VPK ends at 11:30am

*PLEASE NOTE:
- Children must be 4 years old by September 1st to be enrolled in VPK.
- If attending VPK only, there is no charge. The fees above are for wrap-around care before 8:30 a.m. and after 11:30 a.m.
- If VPK children attend during VPK Spring Break week, the fee is the preschool rate.
- At the end of the VPK school year in May, 2024, families revert to the preschool weekly rate until the children leave the center for kindergarten.
