Internship opportunities in the Arts provide a springboard to the professional world, while earning academic credits towards your degree.
An Art internship will:
- Offer invaluable learning experiences in a wide range of professional work environments
- Prepare students for employment in the creative industries after graduation
- Apply high standards of production to your work as directed by the internship provider and your faculty advisor
Many of our Art Program interns have been hired immediately following graduation either at their internship sites, or as a result of the excellent training and professional exposure gained through an internship in the arts.
Ongoing Internship Placements include:
- The Rauschenberg Residency, Captiva Island
- Thomas Riley Studios/Method and Concept Gallery, Naples
- Eldridge Appraisals, Bonita Springs
- The Cape Coral Art Studios
- Opening Minds Through Art therapy program at Moorings Park, Naples
Plus: shadow area art teachers, assist local arts entrepreneurs, work with campus professionals, and learn invaluable skills for the workplace.
