forward to your enrollment in the near future.
Your admissions package contains helpful information about how to prepare for the
start of classes.
Say Yes to the Nest Admitted Student Day
Say Yes to the Nest will help you connect to FGCU and see what services and resources
are available to students. You will also get a chance to meet faculty and staff in
your desired major - perhaps even meet some future classmates!
The next step in your enrollment process is to claim your Eagle Access account. Eagle Access will allow you access to the FGCU email system, EagleMail. Please be
advised, University offices and staff/faculty will be sending important information
to this address and may not respond to communication from personal email accounts.
It is your responsibility to routinely monitor and manage your EagleMail.
Claiming your Eagle Access account will also enable you to access other FGCU systems
such as Gulfline, which enables you to view your personal records and complete student-related
tasks such as registering for University Housing.
To claim your account, you'll need the following information. Please make sure to
enter this information as it appears on your admittance email.

Provide your Decision Reply and Submit your Admission Deposit!
In order to accept your offer of admission, you must log into your Future Eagle Account
and answer your Decision Reply question. On the Home tab of your Future Eagle Account, look at the right-hand column under "Forms."
After accepting your offer of admission, you will be able to submit your $200 non-refundable
deposit. To submit your Admission Deposit, go to your Home tab on your Future Eagle
Account. From there, look for "Payment Due" and select Submit Payment for $200.00
USD. Once you submit your deposit, we will hold a seat for you and you will move forward
in the new student process. The deposit deadline for Fall is May 1st, however, we
may accept deposits after the deadline until the term is full.
The admission deposit is applicable to the term for which the student has been admitted
and is non-refundable. The deposit will be forfeited if the student does not enroll
in the deposited term. If a request to change terms is made after classes for the
original term of admission have begun, a deposit for the new term must be paid.
All new students must attend Eagle View Orientation (EVO). Directions on how to register for an orientation session for the Summer and Fall
semesters will be sent out starting in February. We will begin sending the EVO email
in October for students enrolling in the Spring semester. Register for EVO as soon
as you can in order to have the best selection of courses. Orientation is held in
late fall for the Spring term and throughout the summer for the Summer and Fall terms. Get orientation details
If you plan to live on campus, do not wait to apply for housing! We have three housing options: apartment-style living in North Lake or West Lake
Villages or suite-style living in South Village, which features our First Year Residential
Experience. Regardless of your preference, you must apply EARLY to get the best chance
to secure your 1st choice. Get details on housing
All students must establish residency as a Florida Resident or non-Florida resident
for tuition purposes. New students are considered non-Florida residents until proper documentation is received.
Non-Florida residents also need to complete this process. Completing residency is
essential for correct tuition billing, financial aid awarding, and merit scholarship
eligibility.
To complete your Residency Form, go to your Home screen. In the right-hand column,
you will find your Residency Form under "Forms." Select the link, fill out the form,
and submit it. Note: if you indicate you are a Florida Resident, you will need to
provide documentation to support your claim.
